That Face

The play is a darkly comedic, moving and passionate examination of privileged dysfunction. Stenham famously takes inspiration from her peer group at school in constructing her play, and explores hardhitting themes including incest. 

This two-act play premiered at the Royal Court in 2007 and was successfully revived in 2008 and 2013. Originally written as a promenade piece, this is a challenging piece for theatre. Through practical exploration the characters, relationships and the style of the play will be considered from both actor and designer perspectives.
